How did you choose your LiveJournal username? Is there an interesting story behind it?

Hahaha. Yes of course. Ever heard of the band Madina Lake? I was drawing the band's name for my friend Sydney one day and Madina wouldn't fit on one line (I wrote it really big) It ended up with Madin a Lake and I was disappointed. That is, until I figured out that you could split up Madina Lake so that it says "mad in a lake". My friend Nicole overheard me talking about it and said, "Yeah well I'm crazyinapond!" And I've used that name ever since.

What's wrong with you? How could you do that to your daughter? How could you act that way or send me those cruel e-mails? How could you yell at my mom in such a tone that scared me half to death? How could you put me in the position of being your mom and taking care of you? Why did you throw the phone and the chair? Why are you angry? What did I ever do to you? It's your fault that I chose my mom. It's your fault that makes me not feel safe around you. It's your fault we aren't talking anymore.

So I've been in Portland since Tuesday and it's been fun ever since. We've gone down Hawthorne (sp?) Street/Alley/Thing and looked at all the vintage/handmade/interesting/funky shops. We watched Definitely, Maybe last night and this weekend we are going to Powell's bookstore and other places Downtown. :)
